The Bay Magazine Review of our Introduction to Baking Class

Nerve-wracking doesn’t begin to cover it: our first ever review and our first ever baking class, both on the same day! Yes, in a floury baptism of fire, we welcomed Lesley Williams, editor of The Bay Magazine, to our inaugural Introduction to Baking class.

It was a landmark day for us, after so much planning and hard work setting up our micro-bakery, and nerves quickly evaporated as we got chatting to everyone over a coffee before we tackled the first batch of dough.  It was a fantastic day we’ll never forget – read Lesley’s review of her day with us here. Our classes are suitable for complete beginners, people who’ve had a go at baking with mixed results (the wholemeal brick, for example!) or bakers who’d like to add to their repertoire having mastered the basic loaves.

 

We had the most wonderful time on the French Baking course. Learned how to make some wonderful breads and pastries under the amazing guidance of Lesley and Mike , who welcomed us very warmly to their home. The course was brilliant and we loved every minute of it. Rhiannon
