Welcome to One Mile Bakery Tadcaster

Hi, I’m Phil Gostling and I live in the town of Tadcaster in Yorkshire. Located in the heart of the Golden Triangle, Tadcaster is famed for its breweries, gorgeous scenery and its accessibility to the amazing foodie cities and towns of York, Leeds and Harrogate. Like many of you, I live a pretty hectic life, but I’ve realised we all need a little ‘me time’ and baking definitely gives me that. I can’t wait to get delivering amazing fresh bread, delicious soups, scrumptious cakes and sensational seasonal jams to subscribers within my mile. Having taught for over twenty years, I’m also so looking forward to sharing my love of baking in fun, friendly and relaxing baking classes at my home.

AM I IN THE MILE?

We deliver one mile from our location in Tadcaster

Tadcaster, prepare for delicious bakes delivered to your door by bike! Phil starts deliveries on Saturday 7 December, from 5-7pm. From Jan he delivers 5-7 pm on a Thursday, starting 2 January.

Subscriptions run for a month (four deliveries) or three months (twelve deliveries) and celebrate the very best of stunning local, seasonal produce.

Each week brings something different, so a subscription offers a chance to sample a wide range of artisan breads, seasonal soups and stunning preserves. It’s all handmade at home, and delivered to you at home in person. The FAQ page gives more information about how it all works. Hand Delivered Goodness

We were introduced to One Mile Bakery Tadcaster through a friend at the school gates. We receive such a lovely variety of breads and cakes across our subscription and the soups gives us some amazing ideas about how we can best use seasonal and delicious ingredients better. Our grandkids love the cakes and we now hide our deliveries when our family come around – it never works through as the irresistible sweet and wholesome smells of bread, cake and soup meander through the house.
