Hello, I’m Elisabeth, founder of One Mile Bakery and now planning the launch of the first OMB in Somerset. When I delivered my first order of homemade bread, soup and jam by bike in Cardiff in 2012, I never dreamed that there would one day be a floury family of One Mile Bakeries in different locations across the UK. As soon as we got the keys to our new home in Somerset, I started plotting about opening my One Mile Bakery here. We’ve got some serious building work happening at the cottage this year, so until that’s done I’m baking in quiet corners and writing new courses. As with every One Mile Bakery, it’s going to be an adventure! I can’t wait to get started. Follow me on social media or sign up for the newsletter to be the first to hear about the launch date, deliveries and classes later in 2019.
We deliver one mile from our location in Trudoxhill
Elisabeth will be delivering within a mile of her cottage which is right in the centre of the village, opposite The White Hart. Subscribers will receive weekly deliveries of amazing homemade bread, soup and preserves on foot or by bike to their homes in the village. If you are interested in subscribing when the delivery service launches, sign up to be on the waiting list.
Subscriptions run for a month (four deliveries) or three months (twelve deliveries) and celebrate the very best of stunning local, seasonal produce.
Each week brings something different, so a subscription offers a chance to sample a wide range of artisan breads, seasonal soups and stunning preserves. It’s all handmade at home, and delivered to you at home in person. The FAQ page gives more information about how it all works. We’ll be releasing Trudoxhill slots for delivery later in 2019 – follow us on social media for updates, sign up for our newsletter or drop us an email and we’ll be in touch with more information.
