Our Classes

Our aim, quite simply, is to teach Britain to bake. Nothing beats the feeling of baking your own beautiful bread and sharing it with people you love. Each of the OMB micro-bakeries offers our core range of full-day classes, all of which are suitable for complete beginners or home bakers with some experience who want to improve their skills. Plus, each bakery offers its own bespoke classes (see locations for details) as well as private group bookings for friends, family or corporate groups. We teach at home, in small groups, so you learn in the same kind of environment you will bake in, and the classes are fun, informal, informative – you get comprehensive recipes to take home along with your baking – and great value. We include a two course lunch, with wine or soft drinks, plus snacks and hot drinks throughout the day. Our gorgeous gift vouchers make the ideal present, and can be used for any of our classes.

My husband & I did the French baking day today. It was a fabulous day, I never dreamed I would be able to make delicious croissants from scratch! Great fun and wonderfully hosted. I’d thoroughly recommend (if you can get in!)
