Welcome to One Mile Bakery Exeter

Hello, I’m Boudicca Woodland and I’m really excited to be running the first One Mile Bakery in the south-west. Delivering delicious homemade bread, soups and preserves by bike within my mile really appeals to me as does teaching OMB classes so that more people can bake amazing bread at home. I love meeting others who share my passion for great food and Exeter couldn’t be a better location for this, with its fantastic local produce and such a strong sense of community.

AM I IN THE MILE?

We deliver with a one mile radius from our One Mile Bakery kitchen in St Thomas, Exeter

Boudicca began deliveries in May 2018, taking amazing homemade bread, soup and preserves by bike to addresses near her home in St Thomas. Deliveries are weekly, on Tuesdays (5-7pm) to local subscribers – this is the only way to get OMB bread!

Subscriptions run for a month (four deliveries) or three months (twelve deliveries) and celebrate the very best of stunning local, seasonal produce.

Each week brings something different, so a subscription offers a chance to sample a wide range of artisan breads, seasonal soups and stunning preserves. It’s all handmade at home, and delivered to you at home in person. The FAQ page gives more information about how it all works. I can’t tell you how much fun the day was. We laughed and chatted our way throughout. Boudicca was a fabulous host and completely natural with her teaching. This Introduction To Baking course is far from pretentious and stuffy. It’s a laid-back affair which felt like I was hanging out with my friends doing something fun.
