Testimonials

I can’t tell you how much fun the day was. We laughed and chatted our way throughout. Boudicca was a fabulous host and completely natural with her teaching. This Introduction To Baking course is far from pretentious and stuffy. It’s a laid-back affair which felt like I was hanging out with my friends doing something fun.

The very process of getting a feel for each loaf, with a watchful eye of Boudicca has helped me make so much sense of the natural progression of bread-making and now I have a strong reference point for how my dough should feel when I bake it at home - hopefully with similar success!

Really nice tasting bread and we learnt a lot. Boudicca makes the course fun and enjoyable and served us lovely food throughout the day I can't wait to try out my new skills.

We've just received our first bread delivery and it tastes amazing. There are likely to be weekly arguments over who gets to eat the end crust!

I went on the basic bread making course. Boudicca is an excellent host and teacher. I have made bread in the past, but picked up many new tips... I have since baked a further loaf at home with great success and there will be more to come!

I'd previously made bread at home using a machine but was never satisfied with the result so the "Introduction to Breadmaking" seemed a good place to start!  The teacher (Boudicca) explained things clearly but kept the mood of the course upbeat and fun... I like the 'zero waste' and 'reducing food miles' ethos of this company. I'm planning to bake bread for my family as a result of attending this so it really was worthwhile.

Exeter Independent Explosion – food and zero waste

Exeter has been very busy lately with lots of independent businesses launching or expanding. First up, Pink Moon at 44 Queen Street. A lively grab ‘n’ go café, modern brunch space & social restaurant. Here I tried the vegan tacos and lovely strong coffee (always a good test!) – both delicious.  They have now added
