Vegan Friendly Baking Days #WorldVeganDay

World Vegan Day, 1 Nov is almost here.  It’s a fantastic chance to celebrate all things vegan or to explore your vegan curiosity.  You can find out more about the events via the Vegan Society’s page here.  I’m not currently fully vegan but am a lifelong vegetarian and I definitely appreciate the wonderful progression of veganism throughout the world.  There are so many great opportunities for fantastic food out there now and I hope that it continues on it’s rapid growth.

Locally, if you haven’t yet, do check out the regular Vegan Markets in Exeter or Exmouth.  Amongst my favourites from the market are How on Earth who are currently looking into opening a plant based deli in Exeter.  If you’re interested in supporting the venture – check out the survey here.  Their southern fried chicken style pieces are very popular in our house!

Additionally, if you’re more into your cakes and bakes check out Bake Free.  They are often found at local markets and serve the most delicious sweet and savoury options.

I currently offer two baking classes that are completely vegan in content – my Intro to Baking and Intro to Sourdough classes (current dates are listed here).  I am also happy to cater for vegan diets and provide plant based food throughout the day.  I’m working towards offering vegan alternatives in my other classes too – if you have any ingredient recommendations, let me know.  I’m always looking to improve my bakes, classes, and continue to increase my vegan offerings.

Attended Bread making course today. Learn so much and am Inspired to try different things!
