Day One: Story
Two years ago I was working 9am-5pm in an office but found my anxiety and depression were at an all time high because all I seemed to do was work, come home to the worst of my kids (grumpy bedtime!) and by the time the weekend came around, I was too tired to do anything fun.
Something had to change, so I wrote a list of the things I loved to do (#lovelists 🤣) Baking kept rearing its head – I’ve always loved cooking and baking. They’ve always been my escape.
The opportunity to open my own One Mile Bakery here in Exeter came and I grabbed it with both hands. I haven’t looked back since – weekly deliveries, hosting small fun baking classes in my home and still being able to do the school run ✔
