Day Six: Reducing Waste
My subscription service means that I can plan well in advance for orders, buying the right amount of stock and therefore minimising waste 🍞🥣🍯 I use reusable bags to deliver my subscription #sourdough #realbread #soupoftheday and #jam 🛍
I aim for compostable food packaging where possible ♻️ However, there is still plenty of space for improvement – my soup pots can currently only be recycled in limited places and I’d like to move to something more sustainable… For my classes, I do offer recycled aluminium foil for participants to take away pizza or other leakable goods but I’d love to be able to offer a workable alternative.
